Into The New Year

\Xmas flew by and we are now into the new year and I cannot believe how many orders have started to poor in, I have to take on some staff which for this present climate is fantastic. I have been doing some research and according to lots of you out there you want bold designs for your invitations, which rather suprised me as I love the creams whites and pastel colours, I have made quite a few up now and have added them to my website and I hope you enjoy them as I have making them. In the next few weeks I will be adding some unusual wedding favours to give your guests something to talk about, I am even thinking of adding a D I Y section for those of you that would like to make your own wedding stationery, as I am constantly being asked if I would sell  my brooches as they are at very competitive prices. So keep looking on the website in the next few weeks and I will see what I can do.

Thank you to you all for your custom over the last year and all your lovely comments.

Happy New Year to you all.

Oh so Busy Today

Been so busy these last few days thinking up new designs for my website, you have to cater for all brides to be you never know what you are going to get asked for… creams and teals seem to be the most popular colour choice at the moment and as always butteflies, I try to add brooches to most of my designs so the lucky guest can remove them so they are for ever reminded of the wedding day when they look at it it also doubles up as a keep sake. I have added a photo of my favourite design so delicate and oooohhh so pretty.ooooohhhh so pretty

Shabby Chic Wedding Invites

Shabby Chic refers to a type of design that incorporates vintage part worn look from an older period… including country french, shaker and many others. Over the past few months I have been contacted by so many future brides asking me if I could come up with a vintage shabby chic range, to which I hope I have achieved and added the new designs to web site this evening, hoping  this is what you all have been looking for…..

A Warm Welcome

A little about myself… debscrafts@fsmail.net
My name is Debbie and I am the owner & founder of Debscrafts Designs. My hobbies are creating beautiful things, painting, interior design, and my 4 little gransons. I am so lucky to be blessed with such inspiration to design such beautiful items and have my hobby of craft turned into a full time job. My husband has built me a fantastic worshop on our land so I can work from home, I feel so lucky to wake up each day a go to work doing something I enjoy so much. I have been in the craft trade since 2000 but only started to make wedding stationery when my daughter got married in 2002 and we could’nt find anything in her colour scheme, and this is the begining of Debscrafts wedding stationery, my business has grown from strength to strength, from then on a lot of my inspirations come from the brides themselves, when they ask me to design something for them and they come up with some wonderful ideas for me to create.
What I hope to achieve from my blog is to give and to get as much advice from the Brides out there.. so please blog away and hopefully I can be of inspiration to you.
